EFT Tapping Script for Safety, Inner Peace & Reconnecting With Your Authentic Self
There are moments in healing where we realize we’ve spent so much of our lives surviving, adapting, people-pleasing, performing, or protecting ourselves that we no longer fully know what it feels like to simply be ourselves.
Trauma, chronic stress, attachment wounds, chronic illness and nervous system dysregulation can slowly disconnect us from our authentic self, the part of us that feels grounded, safe, connected, and alive.
Instead, many people move through life feeling:
emotionally overwhelmed
disconnected from themselves
anxious or hypervigilant
stuck in survival mode
uncertain of who they truly are underneath the coping patterns
This EFT tapping script is designed to support nervous system regulation while helping you reconnect with feelings of:
safety
inner peace
emotional grounding
self-trust
and authenticity
As you move through this practice, remember:
You do not need to force healing.
You do not need to become someone else.
You are simply creating space for your nervous system to soften enough for your true self to emerge again.
Before You Begin
Take a slow breath.
Notice your body.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice that you are here, right now.
You may want to rate your current level of stress, anxiety, or disconnection on a scale from 0–10 before beginning.
As you tap, allow yourself to stay gentle. You do not need to say every phrase perfectly. Simply let the words support your nervous system.
Setup Statement (Karate Chop Point)
Tap gently on the side of your hand while repeating each phrase 3 times:
Even though I’ve spent so much of my life trying to survive, I’m open to feeling safe now.
Even though part of me has learned to stay guarded, disconnected, or overwhelmed, I honor how hard my nervous system has worked to protect me.
Even though I may not fully know what peace or safety feels like yet, I am open to reconnecting with myself gently and slowly.
Take a breath.

After the Tapping Practice
Sometimes EFT tapping creates an immediate sense of calm. Other times, it simply creates a little more space, awareness, or grounding. Both are valuable.
Healing the nervous system is not about forcing yourself to “feel better.” It’s about creating repeated experiences of safety, regulation, and connection within the body over time.
The more consistently you practice nervous system support, self-compassion, and body awareness, the more your system can begin shifting out of survival and into greater ease, presence, and authenticity.
At Embodied Wholeness, healing is approached holistically with supporting emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness so you can reconnect with your authentic self and experience deeper wholeness from the inside out.
